  1. In-Game Name of Offender Grasstype Steam ID of Offender (i.e., STEAM_X:X:❤❤❤❤❤❤XX) STEAM_0:0:13461026 Date of Incident 05/22/2020 Report Type Purposeful RDM Were there any staff members online? If yes, who?: none Your Discord ID Description We where both T's and I accidentally rdmd. him. He came around the corner and I misclicked, resulting in me shooting him in the head and killing him. While I admit this was a terrible mistake on my end, grass took it upon himself to revenge rdm me, even though i explained to him it was an accident and I'm sorry. He wrote a report on me and decided to keep it, fair enough, I can accept a slay or perhaps even a ban. I also pmd him after he kept the report and told him (again) that it was an accident and im sorry. Then right as the round began he came up behind me and shot me in the back with a shotgun, proclaiming that I "Deserved it" in chat (we where both innocent in that round btw). Like maybe I did deserve it, but still thats uncalled for. If you where that angry at me over it just make a complaint in the forums about it IMO. Evidence Attachments
  2. yeah i agree with him, you probably shouldn't take any offers under 2 ic
  3. Honestly I feel like this guide would be very helpful to players if it where to be published. Good job
  4. Also I don't really care if I get 100 bucks or not, I'm just bored and like writing stuff so I think this is fun.
  5. Note: Although it says 'for newbies' in the title, I recommend this guide to anyone that is level 5-30, and has at least SOME experience in Moat.gg Introduction Inventory Credits (or IC for short) is a form in game currency that can be used to purchase virtually anything , from weapons, to cosmetics, to crates, and even favors from other players in Moat.gg. Just like in the real world, in order to gain massive amounts of IC you have to be smart when it comes to saving it. You can get IC from many things in Moat, from doing your dailies, gambling, deconning useless items, to even buying it with your own money. Unless you are big into gambling the IC you already have (very risky) or spending your own money, usually to earn huge sums of IC you're going to have to grind for it, and depending on how much IC you are trying to save up to, this can be a process that can take days to even months. In this guide I am going to show you how to gain the most IC in the shortest amount of time (excluding gambling or using real world money). Get VIP For those of you that don't know, VIP is basically something that gives you special in game privileges that normal players don't have, such as being able to votekick or have more of a say in map votes. The main reason why VIP is great for saving IC is that you get 50% more IC when deconning items (more on that later). There are two ways to get VIP, first you can pay real world money to buy it, or you can simply buy a VIP token and use it on yourself. Currently as I am writing this, VIP tokens usually go for more than 50k (usually 70-90). Although it might seem counter intuitive to buy something relatively expensive when you are trying to save, but I can assure you that the long term benefits from VIP will get you much more IC than what you initially lost. Decon anything and everything that isn't of value Sometimes when a round ends, immediately after you may or may not receive random items that are known as 'end of round drops'. The items that you get vary in quality, but the tiers that they are usually in are between worn-specialized, with the occasional high end or ascended, and in very rare instances comics or planetaries. (YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY END ROUND DROPS IF YOU ARE AFK). Most of the items that fall into the worn-high end range, unless they are really good, should be deconned. Deconning items is really simple, just right click on the item, and hold the red decon bar until it is full and then YEET, the item is no more and you get some IC. You can also mass decon by holding control and clicking on all the items you wish to send to the 5th dimension, and click the decon button at the bottom. Note: If an item is deconned, it is gone forever and there is no possible way of recovering it. If you have a valuable item that you do not wish to accidentally decon, click the 'lock' button. The amount of IC you can get from an item depends on what tier it is, and there will be a set range for how much IC you can get depending on this tier. The lower the tier, the smaller the range is. For example, the range of IC you can get from deconning a high end if you have VIP is 1800-3600 IC, while with a worn is it only 10-20 (without VIP these ranges would be significantly less, this is why I recommend getting VIP). You should also not only decon useless items that you get in end round drops, but also random items sitting in your inventory that you never use. The more IC you can get, the better. Also, unless the item in question is exceptionally bad or useless, you should probably not decon any items that are ascended or up, as you could possibly make way more IC selling them. Get the item PC'd on discord, and sell it for that price. Try to complete as many dailies as you can!!!! If you are an experienced player, this should be a no-brainer, however if you are relatively new to the server here is what dailies are: Dailies (or bounties) are tasks that the server gives you (ex: Kill 10 innos as a traitor) and they change every 24 hours. You can access them by clicking 'I' and then open dailies by pressing the 'dailies' tab. In return for completing these bounties, the server rewards you with IC and sometimes a high end (remember, if the high end isn't good, decon it). The harder the dailies are, the more IC you will be rewarded for your efforts. The color that surrounds these dailies of indicative for how difficult they are (Gray= Easy, Purple= Medium, Green= Hard). I am not going to say what each specific bounty is or how to complete it, as that would be a completely different guide, but needless to say if you complete most/even all of these dalies consistently you can make as much as 30-50k a day, which over time will accumulate to a huge sum of IC. No matter how noobish you are, even if you don't want to become VIP, AT LEAST try to complete as many dailies as you can everyday, it will pay off immensely. Do not compulsively spend or gamble IC Just as there are compulsive spenders and gamblers in real life, so are there in Moat. For one, if you are trying to save IC, gambling is bad, especially when its with large sums of IC. Sure there are plenty of people that have made a lot of IC off of it, but there are so many more that got chewed up and spat out, and if that happens to you you'll be back at square one. It is a bad investment and most of the time the risk isn't even worth the reward, so again don't gamble unless you're a steady hard that doesn't care about saving IC, in which case you shouldn't even be reading this. Also, don't spend your IC on a bunch of junk you aren't going to use, unless the person is selling it for a really good deal and you could potentially make a whole lot more IC selling it. All of your efforts should go to making that IC number bigger and bigger, any item that you spend valuable IC on for it to just sit in your inventory is a waste. One more thing you can do! This is just something you can do too make a little bit more IC , but it only works if you have VIP, if you don't it would be a bad investment. Make an advertisement and put in in your game chat, offering to buy any high ends for 2.5k and ascendeds for 16k. Once you buy them, decon. Since the range for IC you can get for deconning a high end is 1.8-3.6k if you have VIP, it is likely you will make more IC deconning the high end than what you bought it for, same can be said for an ascended. Not only will you make more IC when you decon them, but theres also a chance you could get a high end stat/talent mutator (usually goes for 5k) or an ascended stat/talent mutator (usually goes for 30-45k, depending on the economy or how badly the person wants it). Thanks for reading and I hope this helps!
  6. I actually really enjoy reading these guides for some reason lol

Because it was Christmas Eve and I wanted to be nice, I gave him my Cheng Feng and told him he could play with it for 3 rounds. After three rounds, he disappeared from the server we where playing on. Not pointing fingers, maybe he just had to get off really badly, but yeah he pretty much stole my Cheng Feng. Edit: I just got my cheng feng back. The little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ (why am I here) literally sold it to someone for 40k, and I found him posting it in chat. Thankfully, he gave it back to me for free (even though his 40k is still gone), but the phoenix skin I put on it is gone. I am genuinely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off right now, and I feel bad for the guy that legit lost 40k giving it to me for free. I dont care that I got my item back, I want to see this guy get whats coming to him. 8. In-Game Name of Offender: monch SteamID of Offender: lost it 😕 Which server was this on?: TTT #2 Date of Incident: 11/28/2019 Report Reason: False Kos What Happened: Alright, so at first I really didn't want to make complaint since I never got the guy's steam ID ( and I have no idea how to acquire it) so I dont really think there is much the admins can do. But then I thought, ♥♥♥♥ it, I have video evidence, so why not? So basically this guy (monch) was following me around yesterday and was literally being a little ♥♥♥♥ to me. At the start of every round, he would call a false KOS on me, which most of the time lead to all of the innos nearby killing me in a matter of seconds (especially when he was a detective). Oh, shall I also mention he was constantly saying the n word in voice chat? At first I kind of ignored it, but it really started to ♥♥♥♥ me off when he was doing it to me on my T rounds. So I whipped out OBS and started recording some of the ♥♥♥♥ he was doing to me. When I told him I had video evidence of what he was doing and that I was going to report him in the forums, he gave me a bunch of "Ha Ha do it I dare you" bullshit (which is part of the reason why I decided to write this complaint despite not finding his ID). His other friends on the server proceeded to antagonize me, but I don't really care about that (a lot of what they said was pretty funny actually). I just kinda want to see this guy get what he deserves for being such a jackass, but honestly I don't think much there much that can be done since I didn't get his Steam ID, did find him in he community though when I looked his name up. Oh well. monch if you're reading this I hope you enjoy the video on youtube I posted about you 🙂 Were there any staff members online? 9. Alright so I don't know if a Putin model already exists in Moat, but if it does then I apologize (even though I've never seen one before). Right now I really want a Donald Trump and a Vladimir Putin model in Moat. I'm not really going to hold my breath with the Donald Trump model, but I think it would be cool to have a Vladimir Putin model. There is already one that exists in the steam workshop: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1384226325 Again, I don't know if Putin is already in Moat, do if he does Im sorry for making a fool out of myself. But if he doesn't... Edit: if Putin where to get added to Moat, I don't know if he would be a cosmic or if he would be an ascend but I think one of the two would be best.
  10. Your In-Game Name: onemancringe Your Steam ID: 76561198860995040 Which server where you banned on?: TTT #5 Staff Member that Banned You: Russell Ban Reason: Mass RDM Ban Length: Permanent Did you break any rules?: Yes What Happened: A little more than 7 months ago, I was permanently banned for mass RDM, and on top of that, I lied about it. Well, at least that's the short version of my story. I’m just gonna write down everything that led me to getting banned, if you don’t want to read it then feel free to skip it. It was Christmas break, and because I had nothing better to do, I binged played on this server from dawn to dusk. It was somewhere between 9 to 11 PM, and I was starting to get really pissy (not that it justifies what I’ve done). I was throwing a mental temper tantrum over everything, from not getting any kills to losing the match. I honestly should have gotten off and played something else, but I continued to play. Eventually, I got so agitated that at the start of a round, I decided to take my anger out on everyone around me. Even though the round just started, I assumed most of the people where going to be temporarily AFK, and therefore easy targets. I walked over to a group of players, and threw a thing of TNT on them, killing at least four players and wounding many more. It was right then and there I realized that I had made a huge mistake, and I immediately openly apologized in the chat and went to track down a couple of the players I RDM’d and gave them some free IC. I tried to fix what I had done, but in the end karma caught up with me. A player known as “feiser99” sent a complaint on me, and I was permanently banned shortly there after. I still remember clicking on one of the servers and finding out I was banned, I’m not trying to make a sob story or anything, but I was pretty upset (though I had it coming). Shortly afterwards, I proceeded to write several unban requests, lying that what I had done was an accident, and how so dearly sorry I was and so on. They were all denied. Looking back on it, it was pretty deplorable of me to try and lie like that. But at the time I thought that if I told the truth, I would be instantly denied. It took several unban requests for me to realize that this wasn’t working out, and I could tell they probably knew I was lying. So on February 2nd, I posted one final unban request telling the truth in over dramatic detail and explaining how I blatantly lied in hopes of getting unbanned. I really wanted to express how sorry I was, and I wanted to clear up any harsh feelings so that if I come back I could have the possibility of getting a second chance (I even stated that in there). Before denying it, one of the admins respond saying they knew I was lying and that it would have been better for me to tell the truth in the first place. It has been 6 months since my last unban request. In the long run this ban may have actually benefited me, since it kind of pushed me away from video games and allowed me to focus on my schoolwork. Whenever I feel like playing TTT, I just log onto different servers. However, to this day, in the back of my head I still miss Moat. I miss the fun loving community, the unique inventory concept, and my Obama player model, dear ♥♥♥ my beloved Obama player model. I understand that my actions where unacceptable, childish, and frankly repugnant, and for that I apologize. I’m sorry for mass rdming, I am sorry for lying to the admins, and I am sorry for not learning my lesson to respect the rules, despite being previously banned twice for it. I know some of the people reading this might be thinking: “How can we trust that you aren't going to make the same mistakes again?” I thought about what would be the right way to answer this question for a while now. Even now as I write this I ponder whether or not this would even be the correct way to word it, but here's the answer. Ever since I have been banned, I have been trying desperately to get back on this server, including attempting to lie my way back in. If I where to get unbanned right now, it would be around 7 months since I’ve last played a match on Moat. My point is, if the admin reading this is charitable enough to forgive me, and give me a second chance after trying so hard to get back in for this long, I guarantee that I won’t throw that opportunity away and revert back to being the player I used to be. Say what you want, but I feel that I have learned my lesson through and through. I will not mass RDM, I will not lie, and I will not be a toxic gamer. This might be a cliche thing to say, but in these past 6 months I have significantly changed and matured, and I am much more cultured on how to keep reign over my demeanor and restrain my anger. Because of this, I feel that I am responsible enough to handle the rules now. I have purposefully waited 6 months since my last unban request, because I understand that with time comes forgiveness, and that’s all I really want at the end of the day. Am I deserving of it? Let’s be honest, after everything I have done, not really. But if the admin reading this can muster up any trace of trust they have left for me, and lift my ban, I promise that I will atone myself to be a better member of this community, and I will do my best to redeem the username “onemancringe”. Anyways, thanks for reading my long, drawn out, possibly dramatic unban request. Also, just in case if any of them ever see this, I would like to directly apologize to the following admins; Jam, Crossboy, and Leo for trying to take advantage of your trust and conspicuously lying to you in the past three unban requests I have written. I know you probably get lied to a lot in these forums, but just because I’m one of many people doesn’t make my behavior any better. -onemancringe Here's a link the the request that got be banned, just in case if anyone's interested: Witnesses: feiser99 Have you read over our rules?: Yes Do you regret doing what you did?: Yes Do you promise not to break any rules after your ban?: Yes
  11. Your In-Game Name: onemancringe Your Steam ID: 76561198860995040 Which server where you banned on?: TTT #5 Staff Member that Banned You: Russell Ban Reason: Mass RDM Ban Length: Permanently Did you break any rules?: Yes What Happened: I am going to come clean with you guys, I haven't been completely honest in several of my previous unban requests, and I have a feeling you guys where aware of it (but even if you weren't, it doesn't really make my actions any better). As many of you admins know, I have been banned permanently for mass RDM. In all of my previous unban requests, I have been intent on saying that what I have done was an accident, and that it was all caused by a missclick. The truth of the matter is, that was a lie. I know at this point it is probably really hard for you admins to even trust me, but I'm done giving you a bunch of bullshit. Here is what REALLY happened: I was playing on Moat's severs somewhere between 9:00 to 11:00 pm. I was on the Motel Map, and I noticed there where no admins online. I was bored as ♥♥♥♥ (not that it is an excuse for what I have done), and I was getting angry from loosing all the time. I was being a major sweaty try-hard, the literal embodiment of cancer. It didn't matter how many times I won, every time I lost I just got more and more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ off. Finally I thought to myself, "Why don't I just take my anger out and mass RDM? Sure its a ♥♥♥♥-move, but hey, there is no admins online." And that's exactly what I did. Right as the round started, I walked up to a group of players and threw some TNT on them. It was then and there when I had an "uh-oh, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up" moment. The TNT exploded and 4 players died. I felt really bad for what I did, so I gave some free ic to some of the players I RDM'd. Someone sent a player compliant on me and I was banned shortly after. Over the course of a month, I sent 3 unban requests lying that what I had done was an accident and that I was innocent. I thought that if I told the truth, I would be instantly denied. That didn't work out so well for me. At this point I bet I can already guess some of the things people reading this are thinking right now: "I don't know what you where expecting to come of this, onemancringe." "You where being toxic and decided to take out your anger, that is not worthy of an unban." "Why would you lie on your first few unban requests? That's not going to help your chances." "Why do I even have to think of anymore excuses when you have already written them all down for me, smart ♥♥♥." But guess what? You can think that because you are right! I was being a toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I didn't consider what was going to happen if I broke the rules, I was lying, and I am being a smart ♥♥♥! I deserve this ban, every bit of it. I'm a player with 7 days of playtime, but still acts like a noob, has literally no community reputation, but a bunch of ic from playing on his hopelessly fat ♥♥♥ day in and day out, no I don't deserve to be unbanned! I've made a fool of myself, my actions have lead to me spoiling the experience for other players, and now I'm sitting here and throwing a pity party when I should probably be outside working off those extra pounds. But worst of all, all of these wounds are self-inflicted. But even if I don't deserve to be unbanned, that doesn't mean I can't come back and apologize, and that's all I really want to do. I want to set things right. Although a seconded chance would be nice, sometimes that doesn't always happen. And you know what? That's fine, the more you learn I guess. I just want to say that I'm sorry, sorry for everything I have done. I'm sorry for purposefully Mass RDM'ing 4 people seconded into a round. I am sorry that I have lied to look innocent in hopes that i could get unbanned. I'm sorry for being toxic, and I'm sorry for being a smart ♥♥♥. I just hope that if I can clear up any harsh feelings I have caused, I just might be able to get that sweet seconded chance if I ever decide to come back (which won't be for a while). But for now, the only thing I want is for the admin reading this to write down something before he denies my request. Just write down SOMETHING! Anything, except nothing but a simple "denied" or "ban upheld". Please, that's all I want. Thank you for reading. Goodbye Moat.gg. -onemancringe Witnesses: feiser99 Have you read over our rules?: Yes Do you regret doing what you did?: Yes Do you promise not to break any rules after your ban?: Yes
  12. Your In-Game Name: onemancringe Your Steam ID: 76561198860995040 Which server where you banned on?: TTT #5 Staff Member that Banned You: Russell Ban Reason: Accidental Mass RDM Ban Length: Permanently Did you break any rules?: Yes What Happened: Introduction: 4 weeks ago from today (roughly a month ago) I had accidentally RDM’d four people seconds into a match. Now I know many people before me have probably said it was an accident as well, BUT PLEASE HEAR ME OUT! I know this ban request is pretty lengthy, but please read what I have to say. Here's how it went down: The Mass RDM: Although I have a total of 7 days of playtime (last time I checked), I had rarely seen TNT used on any of the servers. That's why when someone offered me some TNT for 3k ic, I was really excited to have it because I was curious about its explosive power. I bought it roughly a day before the mass RDM occurred. Because I was really curious about the explosive power of the TNT, I would test it out. Basically the way I would test it out was to make sure nobody was around, throw it on the ground, and watch it explode. Lets fast forward roughly a day later, on the exact match the mass RDM occurred. The round was on the Motel Map, and at the spawn point directly to your right is a bathroom. I really wanted to test my TNT, and I figured that no one would be in the bathroom. So I decided to go in there and test out the TNT. As I was walking there, I was passing a group of players next to me. The players seemed to be messing around, and a couple of them seemed to be AFK (probably weren’t, considering the match had barely begun). I turned to look at them, but as I was trying to turn my mouse to look back at the bathroom, I accidentally right clicked and threw the TNT (on my first ban request, I vaguely said that I misclicked while I was turning to look at them, what I meant by that was I was turning to look in front of me to see if there where any people in the bathroom). I wanted to type in the chat, “Quick, get out of the way!”, but there wasn’t enough time. I simply took several steps back, and the TNT exploded. Many people heard the TNT timer going and where able to get away (thank ♥♥♥), but several players didn’t understand what was going on and stayed in place. When the TNT exploded, a total of 4 players died. I remember just standing there and staring at what I had done, completely shocked. I typed in the chat several times that I was sorry to any AFK people (I thought that most of the players I had killed where AFK because I saw some of them standing idle when the bomb went off, however that was probably not the case) that I had killed with my explosion. I even tracked down a couple of the people I had RDM’d and gave them some free IC as an apology for what I had done (you can even check my trade history for proof). However, feiser99 still rightfully sent a player complaint on me. The next day when I tried to log back in, I was banned permanently for Mass RDM. The Aftermath: Being upset, I immediately sent an unban request after I found out I was banned and explained what had happened. I even offered to give 1k ic for free to all the players I RDM’d. The admin (crossboy) responded to my request by saying that I had been banned for misclicking and accidentally RDMing before, and that I should have learned to be more careful, before denying my request. He was right, I have been banned previously for misclicking and accidentally RDMing someone. It happened while I was still a noob(ish). I had four days of playtime, but I still wasn’t really good at the game. I was trying to aim my gun by holding left click, but held right clicked instead. While I did this my gun was pointed at someone else, and I unloaded the entire mag on them. This resulted in me getting banned a day for RDM. Instead of taking that as a warning to be more careful in the future, I did the exact opposite. I made another unban request regarding the mass RDM a week later, but it was denied as well. The Now: It has been a month since I was banned permanently, and I am very ashamed for what I have done. I wish I could take it back, but obviously I can’t. The only thing I can say right now is that I am dearly sorry. Not because I have been banned, but because I had spoiled the game for many people in that one round, and I have no one else to blame but myself. Accident or not, it was my fault for throwing the TNT, and it was my fault for not taking my previous ban as a warning to be more careful. I should have been more responsible. Every time I think about what happened, I feel hot fiery shame and guilt. I took a lot of time to think about what I had done, and feel that I have learned my lesson to be more careful and to take the rules way more seriously. I beg for forgiveness. I promise that if I’m unbanned I will never do anything like this again. Please give me the benefit of the doubt here. I am truly sorry, and I feel that I have learned my lesson. Anyway, this request was extremely long so I appreciate anyone who took the time to read it the whole way through. Even if you disagree with me, it still shows that you care about (or at least interested in) what I have to say, and I thank you for that. Have a great day everybody 🙂 Link to complaint that got me banned: Edit: Link wasn't working, so I fixed it. 13. Your In-Game Name: onemancringe Your Steam ID: 76561198860995040 Which server where you banned on?: TTT #5 Staff Member that Banned You: Russell Ban Reason: Mass RDM Ban Length: Permanently Did you break any rules?: Yes What Happened: Roughly a week ago from today, I committed mass RDM. The mass RDM occurred when I accidentally threw some TNT at a group of players (I misclicked which resulted in me throwing the TNT). Because of my carelessness, clumsiness, and utter lack of responsibility, I had RDM'd four people seconds into a match. After my what I have done, I openly apologized for my actions in the chat and even gave away some free IC to the players who where the unfortunate victims of my faults. While this might have erased 1% of the damage I had done, feiser99 still rightfully sent a player complaint one me (there where no admins online) which resulted in me getting banned permanently for mass RDM. After I have found out I was banned, I decided to send an unban request. In the request, I explained that what I had done was an accident and that I was truly sorry for what I have done. I even asked for a list of the players I had RDM'd so that I could give each of them 1k free IC as an apology if I was unbanned. The admin that responded to my request (crossboy) replied with this simple, yet painfully true message before denying my request: "You killed four people a couple of seconds into the round because of a "misclick", but you've already been banned for "misclicking" before, so you should have known to be more careful about doing that in the future. It is entirely possible that at a later time, your story may be forgiven, however, you should have been more careful seeming as how you had been banned for this already. You may reappeal in a week. " (Here is a link to my last unban request, it gives A LOT more detail on how the mass RDM went down): https://moat.gg/forums/topic/23210-unban-requesttttonemancringe/?tab=comments#comment-122572 What crossboy has replied with was completely true, as I have been banned for misclicking and RDM'ing someone before. Now granted it wasn't near as severe (as I had only RDM'd one person), and I was only banned for a day. However RDM is still RDM, and I should have taken this as a warning to be more careful. I was also banned for two days for killing a T off of suspicion, but that is a different story. First and foremost, I would like to sincerely apologize for my actions, both to the players I had RDM'd, and the community in general. I take full responsibility for what I have done, accident or not, what I have done was completely my fault. The admin told me that it was possible for me to be forgiven in a later time, and that I was allowed to reappeal in a week. I saw this as a sign of hope, so I waited a week and took thart time to think about what I have done. I regretted the fact that I didn't take my previous ban as a warning to be more careful. I was ashamed of the fact that I had RDM'd four people and ruined their player experience for them, and ultimately myself since my own actions lead me to my ban. I feel that with the time I have spent banned from this server, I have learned my lesson to be more careful. I thank the admin (crossboy) for helping me to realize my mistakes and wrong doings. By doing that, you have lead me on the right path and now I think I am ready to correct my mistakes. However, that doesn't fix everything. I have still mass RDM'd, and I have broken a rule. The only thing I can really do now is to ask for forgiveness, and hopefully a seconded chance of some kind. I thank you for reading my apology/unban request. I hope I can be given the opportunity to correct my mistakes and hopefully redeem myself in the future. Have a great day and thank you for reading :) Witnesses: feiser99 Have you read over our rules?: Yes Do you regret doing what you did?: Yes Do you promise not to break any rules after your ban?: Yes
